A Speech for Free Education for All –dream or Reality

The education for all campaign was started by UNESCO in the year of 2000. It is a global movement to make aware and provide for the educational requirements of children as well as the youth and adults.

It came in knowledge after the Dakar conference of 1987. It was first came into and thus started in the year of 1990 with a goal  of bringing “benefits of education to every citizen of the country” with the help of our government, civil societies and some of the international development boards, such as World Bank and UNESCO.

In some country, this started as a means to provide free and compulsory education to all belonging to the age group 6-14 years.

Education for all inhabitants is guaranteed by law of some of the countries, because they wanted to educate their citizens.

The government of some countries realizes the need of a minimum education to help people to in getting good education and therefore has started different types local government schools that are looked after by the local members of the govt.; thus helping the citizens in the path of education.

Government of some countries also launched various schemes and programs whose ultimate target can be  included as – children in school, reducing gender problem and social gap in needs of access to good quality education, quality elementary education, thus encouraging the students to study further.

Other initiatives by the government include different types of programs to help the poor people to learning more and more according to their wishes.

In some countries there are some schemes that aimed at filling the gaps and improving education system in the most rural and unreachable areas or in the sections with lowest female literacy rate and to improve the primary education system for the inhabitants of that particular area.

Government of various countries, started some projects as a part of nutritional security and also to decrease the rate of absenteeism from many schools, like the mid-day meal program or project.

This mid –day meal project helped children of various elementary grades or primary schools to have the basic meal (following  the nutritional value) for the school  days so that their basic nutritional needs are accomplished and would help to progress to the reduction of absenteeism, full person could would decrease the dropout rates along with accomplishing good food and nutritional security for those poor students. Despite these strong  taken by the government of some countries education is still inaccessible by many people in many areas.

Education is still a dream for many people of many countries, especially for the ones living in poverty and debt, in the rural areas or those who are ignorant. Accessibility and affordability of education is a rising issue in some democratic country or poor country. The government funds are not sufficient for the education purpose for each and every person in a big country.

Therefore we should try our best as per our capacity to help our country in this process of increasing the awareness about the good sides of education.

Thank you everyone.
