A Speech on How to Manage Communicative Disorders.

Communication disorders relates with various types of other persistent problems related to the expression of the language and speech. It is to be thought that nearly one in 10 American children carry some type of communication disorder with them.

Language competence carries two main factors such as production and comprehension, Speech is the process of expressing something orally. The communication disorders can be separated into the following categories:

Language Disorder, Speech Sound Disorder, Onset Fluency Disorder, Social (Pragmatic) Communication Disorder, Unspecified Communication Disorder and lastly the Language Disorder, 

The causes of those previously mentioned disorders can be of various different types.

Some reasons of the communication problems include partial or acute hearing loss, some neurological disorders, some cases of brain injury, vocal cord injury, some illness like autism or intellectual inability, unscientific drug usage, physical impairments such as cleft lip or palate, emotional or psychological problems, and some special cases of developmental disorders.. But actually in some cases, the cause of a communication disorder is simply unknown.

The best and perfect process to approach and continue the treatment for a communication disorder is to focus on the goal of prevention and also the early intervention.

There are certain therapies to treat the child or people who have some sort of communicative disorders. Some of them are Speech therapy, behavior therapy or some types of special stimulant medications as well. Sometimes the treatment called the Environmental modification can also be beneficial for treating some communication disorders.

Parents should always be attentive and aware of the typical age, of when a healthy child should be reaching the each one of the developmental milestone of their lives. The first 3 years of life, when the brain is at the early stage of developing and maturing, is the most intensive and very tender period for achieving the ability of the speech and language skills. By the time of 4 to 6 months, a baby typically babbles and creates a typical sound in such a manner that resembles the sound of a speech, using a variety of collective sounds, and responds to the changes in the voice tone of others.

At the age of after one year, it is a normal incident for a child to, for example, understand and recognize some simple words for some special items or things, they try to communicate with some special physical gestures, and try to use one or two easy words. From ages 1 to 2 and beyond, they try to pick up new words and start to use some multiple words together in their expression.

A parent having some concerns about their child’s speech or language expressing ability or development, they should try to talk and consult with their family doctor, who may refer them to a speech-language specialist, who is trained to treat the communication disorders of a child or a person. Treatment can continuing by involving interactive, communication-based activities for the parent and their child and, potentially, continuing with the happy therapy.
